In the Backseat (Tucker) ~~ Painting a Dog a Day by Kimberly Kelly Santini

"In the Backseat (Tucker)," 5" x 7", Golden Open Acrylics on Ampersand Gessobord, commissioned portrait of a wonderful wirey haired sweetheart.

Tucker is a new addition to the family, at least new in the sense that last year when I painted their animals' portraits for my clients, he wasn't there. Not quite yet.

Want a portrait like Tucker's for your own family to enjoy? Drop me a line and we can talk about the best way to memorialize your pet.

Thanks for looking at, and sharing, my artwork with your friends and family -

The Kitten Snuggie

Mona Lisa has a knack for finding the warmest spot and settling in. Whether it's a hamper of clothes fresh from the dryer or curled up in front of the dishwasher during the dry cycle, she's never far from a heat source.

She's such a great reminder to slow down and linger with the things that really matter.

I'm doing more of that lately, and oftentimes it also involves a sleeping kitten in my lap.

Go figure.
