Recent travel took me to southern Illinois, so I’m always on
the lookout for landscape and old barns. I am always surprised to find unique
old textures and structures. I can’t even remember the exact location of this
one since I got lost on country roads as I often do. It was between Tuscola and
Urbana, Illinois in the corn and bean fields. I sometimes wonder where the particular hardware
on these doors originated.
